A little late posting this. On Saturday there was an international friendly match between Sweden and Chile at Friends Area. Of course, as always, I was there photographing the game. There was a great feeling at Friends that night. It was complete invasion of Chile fans. I think every Chilean immigrant in the whole of Scandinavia probably made their way down to Stockholm for the game because at times it felt like they were the home team.
Don’t have much to say about the game. Friendlies tend to not be so inspiring. Chile was the better of the two and rightfully won. For Sweden Emil Forsberg always looks good, I’d really love to see him move on from the Bundesliga and get to play on a bigger stage.
This weeks is a short week as Easter weekend is coming up. Need to try and get all my invoicing and book keeping done before we run off to the country side for the long weekend. This weekend also marks the start of the new Allsvenskan season. Finally shooting some football regularly. Hammarby has their season opener at home this year, but the match is on Sunday so I’m going to skip it. I will do the AIK’s season opener on Monday when they meet Dalkurd at Friends Arena. Then the following weekend it will be Djurgårds first home game of the new season.
