I was back at Friends Arena last night photographing another Europa League qualification match. This time AIK faced off with Portuguese side SC Braga. Braga took the lead after just ten minutes, but a Daniel Sundgren penalty at the 18th minute made it level again.
After 90 minutes the match ended 1-1 and AIK was disappointed to have given up an away goal to the Portuguese side. From a work perspective I went into this game thinking Braga would most likely win. However, I walked out of the game thinking AIK more than held their own against them. For the return match in Portugal I would not bet against AIK pulling off an upset.
