Yesterday I had the great pleasure to attend and photograph the Nordea Scandinavian Master’s leg of the 2011 PGA Tour. I really didn’t know much about photographing golf going into it and quickly learned that the working sports photographer has to do much more work at golf tournament than at a football game. All day I was running back and fourth between courses with one camera with my 70-200mm over one shoulder and my other camera with the very heavy 400mm over my other shoulder. Luckily the weather was with me so I was able to dump my rain clothes in the press room and kept with me strictly the gear I needed.
