Soon we will close out 2012 and embark on 2013. I took a view minutes to check out the traffic I generate on this website and compared 2012 to 2011. In 2011 I had 5,825 unique visitors with 12,547 page views. This year I double up on those numbers and had 10,706 unique visitors and 18,285 page views.
That’s really amazing growth in traffic. I can only hope to continue to build on that in 2013 and maybe double it again.
There were 51 posts published in 2012, compared to 30 in 2011. The most popular post in 2012 was Referenced or Managed files in Aperture published February 13th 2011. It received 2934 unique page views. The most popular photo journal post from last year was Photographing UFC Fuel Sweden – Part 2.
Looking beyond the website 2012 was a great year for me. I got the opportunity to photograph some very big one off events and had a great deal of my photography published. In 2013 I can only hope to continue on that path. Things should continue to remain exciting. In February I will hopefully cover a friendly between Argentina and Sweden. With a little luck I will get to photograph both Leo Messi and Roma’s Erik Lamela. In the summer Stockholm will open another new arena which will make the Swedish football season all the more exciting. There is the ice hockey World Cup. Plus I’m slated to go to Japan sometime in May.
So thanks again for stopping by and hope to see you again soon. Enjoy 2013!
