Two goals from Jonas Olsson helped Djurgården easily sweep away Östersund with a 3-0 result. Östersund went into the game having eliminated Turkish side Galatasary just 3 days earlier in a Europa League qualification match, however they never posed much a threat to the home side.
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again Özcan Melkemichel has done one heck of a job with this team. At the end of match day 16 Djurgården is in 3rd place just one point behind AIK. It’s by far the best results this team has produced since I started working as sports photographer way back in 2010.
I don’t this team can win it this year, but if they keep the coach and they keep the core of the team intact then next season could be very interesting for them.
