I don’t blog the majority of the royal assignments I do. I think the last post I made with the royal family was for Princess Victoria’s birthday all the way back in July. However it’s a little slow at the moment so what the heck. Yesterday I covered Prince Gabriel of Sweden’s baptism at Drottningholm Palace outside of Stockholm.
It was basically a morning of standing outside in the cold and waiting. Press was asked to arrive by 9:30 and guests started arriving after 11. The Royal family did not come outside until after the ceremony. When they came outside the just stood for a minute or two for us to get pictures and then moved on into the main palace.
