Links #4

We are back with some links for week 4 of 2019. It’s been a good week, I got away from my paternity leave and went to photograph Idrottsgalan (Swedish Sports Awards) on Monday. It was a nice change of pace and really has me looking forward to going back to work full time at the end of February.

Interview with Pete Souza

Interview with Pete Souza, who was the official White House photographer for President Barack Obama.

But only after the internet shamed them into doing so and it’s pathetic that it came down to that. That the worlds richest company expects to make a contest and use your photographs in their global marketing campaign without compensating you really rubs me the wrong way.

Exposure does not pay the bills. You can’t spend exposure at the grocery store or pay your insurance with it. You sure as hell can’t purchase an expensive MacBook Pro with it.

That’s all for this week.
