Yet another story about mirrorless cameras being damaged by lasers.

Price Cuts on Canon 400mm f/2.8L II and 600mm f/4L II Lenses: No, You Still Can’t Afford Them

Canon is cutting $2,000 dollars of the price of the older generation 400mm and 600mm. I sold my 400mm last year and replaced it with Canon’s 200-400 but man do I miss it. That lens was worth it’s weight in gold.

The future of the Canon EOS-1D X series

More talk about the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III from Canon Rumors. Now they are saying an announcement between Q4 2019 and Q2 2020. All I can say is give me two.

Photo Mechanic 6 software will be even faster and feature improved UI

Finally a new version of Photo Mechanic is coming. I use Photo Mechanic every day, it is without question an application I can not live with out. The new version is a 64-bit rewrite of the entire app, which is coming right in the nick of time because Mac OS Mojave is the last version of Mac OS to support 32-bit apps.

The Boston Globe showcasing images from yesterday’s global protests over climate change.

That’s it for this week.
