I had a feeling that this derby could be a little bit downbeat when I heard that a good portion of the Hammarby supporters would boycott the match due to the expensive price of tickets. But still one had hoped for something a little more exciting than a goalless derby.
AIK has been in a good run of form having won four out of their last five matches. Hammarby has also been improving on their troubles, they came into this game having kept clean sheets in 3 out of their last 4 matches. Hammarby also should have had the added motivation of trying to get revenge for their humiliating loss in first derby of the season. Unfortunately this game really did not deliver much, not as a derby and not as football game.
Ohh well on with the next one.
