Since I started shooting sports way back in 2011 I have been waiting patiently for one of the Stockholm teams to win the Allsvenskan league so that I could photograph the celebration. This year it finally happened and AIK secured the title on the final match day.
I made the trip down to Kalmar with two colleagues and it was well worth it. The atmosphere was fantastic, a completely sold out stadium that felt like a home game for AIK. Having covered one or two Champions League finals I can say the atmosphere at this match put it to shame.
